As a resident of AD 18 for nearly twenty years, I know first hand what it means to live, work, play, and pray right here in our district.
I am proud to say that I am a local small business owner, an educator, an environmentalist, and someone who knows first hand the economic and social issues that are important to those of us who live in this very special district.
I am the owner, operator, of Great Basin Sage Consulting, LLC. I am one of only three ISA Master Arborists in the State of Nevada. I am also an ASCA registered Consulting Arborist, Tree Risk Appraisal Certified, Plant Appraisal qualified, as well as an ISA Certified Municipal Specialist. I worked hard to earn these credentials so that I could work for myself. Working for myself will allow me the flexibility necessary to represent you as your AD 18 Assemblywoman.
I understand natural resources from multiple aspects. I have worked in America's national oil fields, Nevada's robust mining industry, and as a Nevada wild land firefighter. I am passionate about preserving our state and district's natural environment. I will use what I learned while earning my UNLV Master of Environmental Science degree to represent you on all matters of environmental sustainability.
Teaching the next Generation about Solar Power
As an adjunct faculty member at UNLV, I have learned first-hand that our students are our future. I fully believe that their developments as future leaders of our community is worth our tax dollars and our time.Working to provide access to higher education makes America and our workforce ready to lead the future.
